What is "Instructor Led Training"

There are many terms in the field of educational technology. Most of them are not clear. Nearly all of them have no equivalent in Turkish. Today I met with a new term called "Instructor Led Training". My efforts to define it with the help of Google "define:Instructor Led Training" come up with no answer.

Let me explain what I understand from the term. I think the term "instructor-led training" has aroused as a result of the increasing critisizms to web based training. Web based training is defined as "Delivery of educational content via a web browser over the public Internet, a private intranet, or an extranet. Web-based training often provides links to other learning resources such as references, email, bulletin boards, and discussion groups. ..." by e-learning glossary.
As you might notice no "teacher" factor is mentioned here. And critisizms began to arouse about this point. Therefore, the training and consultancy companies saw the gap here and they started to offer courses with electronic sources with an experineced teacher facilitator. This type of training is called "Instructor Led Training".

That is my understanding of term Instructor Led Training. Are there any objections or anything to add? Please do not hesitate!
